A few years ago I had a baby and suddenly I found myself on a new path in life and I realized I had to make new friends quickly. But how does one make new friends with a newborn in tow? I asked a few women to hike with me and then more and more showed up every week. Now I have a network of over 150,000 families in 300+ cities around the world who I can call friends and go hike with whenever I want. Through social media and our calendar I helped start a movement that gathers families together with newborns and little ones in nature 365 days a year. We have over 3000 hikes on the calendar a month! It's all volunteer led and all of our hikes are free and open to all...mom, dad, nanny, granny, aunty, uncle, doggy, friend. As if that wasn't enough I started a camping festival too and this fall we roll out with 3 around the US to get families out sleeping under the stars with little ones. Check out familyforestfest.com
