Over the past 24 years during Brian’s career in the Outdoor Industry he has had the good fortune of working with top companies in a number of capacities. As part of his time in the industry Brian has held the positions of retail sales associate, shop owner, outdoor program manager, guide, territory sales rep, ambassador/athlete, product design and testing, retail sales consultant, sales manager, sales director and most currently presides as Sport Division Manager at Petzl North America.
Brian has been pursuing climbing, among other outdoor activities, for the last 23+ years and has been fortunate enough to tie that love of climbing and travel into seeing some of the most beautiful and remote places the world has to offer. Brian is an avid mountaineer, alpinist, ice climber and rock climber. In 2013 Brian completed a goal of climbing the 7 Summit-(highest point on each of the 7 Continents) and is currently continuing the adventure pursuit by climbing the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th highest point on each of the 7 Continents.
Brian is married to Rocking Rep wife Vanessa Block and enjoys spending time introducing his 3 sons-Yxzander, Varyk and Kai to many new outdoor pursuits.
