I power myself by these three words. “Engage. Exert. Evolve.” Engage in Mother Nature, exert yourself to challenges in the outdoors to evolve into a peaceful, complete, powerful being. My name is Cyndi Wyatt and my single goal to leave a legacy to women of empowerment in the outdoors. A mother of 3, Ultra Runner, (6x 100 mile mountain racer, finishing top ten women), Outdoor Field Instructor for REI Outdoor School (developed two successful programs; REI Run Club LA and Endurance Hiking), Trail Run Ambassador for REI, and Sales Lead for Footwear at REI Woodland Hills. My favorite activities in the outdoors are anything that allows me to spend hours in the mountains with my friends and family. A “regular” day might be bagging a 10,000-foot to 14,000-foot peak, trail running for hours with as much elevation gain and technical track as possible.
